Homa Sikon, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Voted South Bay's Best Acupuncture/Holistic Medicine practitioner in 2017 (Daily Breeze 26th Annual Readers Choice Awards), Homa is a California State Board licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, and a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, she specializes in pain management, adrenal (chronic) fatigue, internal medicine and emotional disorders.

As part of her clinical training, Homa has practiced in an integrative medicine program at the Venice Family Clinic, where pain management of the under-served population group was the primary focus. She has received additional training in Taiji Rejuvenation Qigong from the Medical Qigong Training Base in China. With extensive experience treating patients at Exhale Mind Body Spa, in Santa Monica, CA; and at sea on the Holland America Line, Homa established her private practice in the South Bay in 2013. She treats patients of all ages for various conditions ranging from the common cold, to back pain and adrenal fatigue.

Prior to becoming a Traditional Oriental Medicine practitioner, Homa worked on multi-billion dollar satellite communications projects for the US Military as an engineer. In 2004, she proceeded to trade in a successful career in engineering to pursue her calling in the world of healing arts.

With a background in electrical engineering, Homa has strong problem solving skills with a keen mind for detail. She views a person holistically and treats the root cause of a disorder. In addition to acupuncture, cupping and herbs, Homa incorporates nutrition, exercise and lifestyle recommendations empowering her patients to restore health & vitality.
